The Meaning of Home
Home means a lot to me. I feel free, and when I’m feeling something, I can always tell someone. When I’m home, I can always be who I am, show myself, and do my favourite activities. When I have a long day out, it is always good to take a warm bath and sleep in my cozy bed.
At home, I feel like I’m in my own universe, because I can do anything I like.
Home is the land of love, kindness and memories for all my family. I remember when we arrived there, and how it transformed into a HOME. Home is where we hide our most important secrets that tells our life. Home is the cradle of ideas, imagination, creativity and love. Home is where I keep the memories of my life and important events on it, just like a photo album.
Home is not only a building with four walls and one roof. It is the universe of every single possible thing. Home is more than a small building. Home is the feeling of love and safety that everybody needs. Home is much more than a place that you live. Home is where I feel calm, relaxed, safe, loved and happy.
In conclusion, I am really grateful about having a home to live in. I know that some people don’t have a home or lost their home, but I know somewhere inside they still remember the love they had in their last home, just like me. And, for people who switched their countries (immigrants), I’m sure they’ll find another way to feel safe and loved. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for making homes for people to feel safe and loved.
