House and Home

A house means to me four walls, a roof, and a door. It’s not emotionally attached to me. It’s when you start a new life. It takes time to get attached to it and make it home. It's not a comfortable place. A home is meant to be a safe place for me. Home is a place where your memories are. It’s when you have your childhood there. It feels that you're attached to it. I have a home and a house so I got the experience of having a house and a home. My home is in my birth country of Egypt and my house is in Canada. When I came to Canada I went to hotels which didn't feel like a home. Now I am still in the house and it also doesn't feel like home. But if I had the chance to go home I’ll go to my birth country. Because I feel more safe, comfortable and I feel attached to it.
