Home Sweet Home

What is home to me you ask? Well, this is going to be long so sit back and relax! What home is to me is the sounds of my family laughing and sounding so happy. What I see in my home is what makes it home, like when I see my family smiling or when I see my dog sleeping peacefully on a soft warm blanket. That is truly what home means to me. It is also the taste of warm cookies or Nutella toast for breakfast. These are some of the senses that make me feel at home. Hey, I’m not done, don’t fall asleep yet! Another thing that makes me feel at home is my family members, because let’s say for example that I am sad, mad or stressed, they will always be there for me with a hug or a kind word. Now don’t tell me that you would want to live alone because then you would have no one to talk to. I know that I would be really bored if no one lived with me. So, my family members always make me feel at home even if sometimes they can be a little bit annoying, I still know that deep down I will always love them, and they will always make me feel at home. Now I’m done. Just kidding! You didn’t really think that this was the end, did you? The last thing that makes me feel at home is the emotions that I feel at home. Love and Safety. At my home I always feel safe because I know that the people around me are strong, plus I know that my home is very secure and I feel that I will always be safe here. There will also never be another home like mine because it is the people that make it my home not the place. At Christmas, when my grandparents and cousins come to celebrate, I always feel so much love in the air, even if you were upset it would make your bad mood go away. Hey, are you sitting back and relaxing because we aren’t on an airplane? If I had to describe home in three words, it would be Love, Laughter and safety. That’s my perspective of home, now I’m really done you can go to sleep if you like, oh but just remember that home is where the heart is.
