Zac's Meaning of Home

A house has doors, behind no one knows But a home is a place where your friends and family go A home is a place where you can infinitely roam Knowing a home is not something just for show The food smell dwells for hours Sipping tea as you share fears With the fireplace in the living room to keep you warm My home is where I would shed most tears A home should be safe, with keys, Where there's free will, you can chill while memories grow, Sadly some homes lack love, air conditioning, food, and drinks I’m privileged to have a home where I can roam! Some homes have pets, some homes none Some houses have mats, or maybe one Some homes are huge, some are small, Some homes have love, or maybe barely at all Every home will never be exactly the same, As us humans are all different It can be different with favourite food, chore, movie, We’re sort of the same, just still as different. In my home, I can sleep whenever needed And feed on delicious food. I can do anything I need at my home with glee because I feel free But I got a lot of room to get ready for school I can pray and play, tell stories at night Tell some happy stories and maybe some that are scary Some houses last not even a century Because all houses break down eventually!
