Home

Home is different for everyone. Sometimes, people consider their home to be a special place where they feel safe. Some people say their home is their place in the universe where they spend the most time. Whatever home is for you, I hope you find my writing interesting, and that it will aid you view your definition of home from a new perspective. For me, the home is the spot where I spend the most time, as well as the one place my parents own. Although I’ve spent most of my life in my old house, I think this is because I now picture my future in the house I now live in, and feel safe and secure sleeping, eating, and doing other things in my house. Even though moving is hard, because people love and treasure their homes, you always know afterwards that your old home will keep its place forever in your heart. A home does not have to be a house! It could be just about any place on earth. Your home could be, for example, an alleyway where you go to hear the birds sing, or a hot tub where you go to relax. The definition of home is vague, but a home is a very important thing for everyone. In the case of nobody’s home needing to be or include a house, something I was thinking about was the true definition of “homeless”. Some people, not owning a house, can still have a home! Although it is true that some wander far and wide, with no set home. That is what I feel the true way to define homelessness is. In conclusion, home can mean many different things and have many different definitions. Now that you’ve seen my perspective, what is “home” for you?
