The Meaning of Home

One may think that home is where you live. To me, home is where I like to be. Home is a place I trust. Home is where my family is. Home is something I love. Home takes care of me. Home is where all my memories are. Home is my safe place. Home is somewhere I can play my favourite sport called Ringette. Home is where I practice karate. Home allows me to watch Master Chef. Home is where I don’t have to be afraid. Home is where I can chill and be myself. Home is somewhere I am glad to be. Home is my final destination at the end of the day. Home is where I lay my head at night. But not all homes are equal. Homework, home plate and homeostasis are not what I am referring to when I think of home. Listen up. What I am saying is always love your home. And never exchange your home for anything in the world. To me, home is not where I live, but where my heart is.
