Home means...

What does home mean to me? February 19, 2025 Dear Habitat for Humanity, Home means I can be myself, I can be myself because I know I won't be judged. I know my family doesn't mind me being my goofy self, because they love me for who I am and don't need me to change. When I don't feel the best, they comfort me and make me feel like I belong. We have so many nice memories and all of them are very special even if it doesn't start so well. One memory I have is when I get home from school, I always play with my cat. We run around and make a lot of noise. My cat is so fluffy that when I feel her I feel so calm. When I see her, I feel so happy that I have her. That's why home is so important to me, and I think everyone deserves a home to share that same feeling. Sincerely, Vicky
