Home is Not a House

Home is not a house, home is a place to grow up, and share long lasting memories with family and friends. Home is where I took my first steps, first words. When I first came home this was where my life began and a story opened up with lots of adventure to come. After school I can come home to the scent of dinner freshly made with my parents waiting for me. Home is not a roof and four walls, it is a place where I can express myself with ideas and learn different things. Home is a magical place that has a meaning in my heart, it's like a safe space, I can come home when there's bad storms and feel safe. Not everyone has a home. For me everyone deserves a home, a home is a very good place to live in. I can come home after school and sleep in my own room, eat, drink, and have fun. Home needs love too. Construction builders built your home, they’ve worked hard almost every day to go out either in the cold weather or hot. They took time to make it someone's dream home. Home needs as much love as the work the construction builders put into building your home. Home is filled with your loved ones, these are the people who made you and who you are today. The memories that make your home not a house are those you will remember forever. Every home has little things to remind you of these times that is what makes a house a home. In conclusion, a home is much more than a house. The meaning of home is all the things you do to turn a house into a home.
