What does home mean to me?
Dear Habitat for Humanity, February 14, 2025
What does home mean to me?
Home means strong smelling scents that you smell straight when you walk in. The strong smelling scents remind me of my bed with the big soft pillows I would lay on for hours when I was younger. When I'm happy I lay in my bed all day, and play with my friends online. When I'm sad I lay in bed with my blanket over my head for however long I'm sad. My mom will cook me all types of different food I love which makes me feel comfortable and happy. When I was alone I would snuggle with my squishmallows to make me feel safe and happy. Home is where my loved ones are and the people who love me live. Home is where my laughter and true emotions can be released to people that know me and understand me. Home is where I can lay in bed, snuggle with my squishmallows, and lay on my couch for hours watching shows and movies. Home is where I know I belong and where everything is that supports and helps me. I think everybody deserves a home and a loving family, a place where they can live with their loved ones and hopefully have a cozy bed.
Sincerely,
Harman Heer
