What home feels like to me

Dear Habitat for Humanity, 02/12/2025 What home feels like to me: Home feels like a door handle when opening my door, my bed when I'm sleeping, my phone when I play on it, my family when I give them hugs. It smells like my mom cooking food or the bagel I have in the morning and like my dog's breath. It feels like a happy place where I can express my feelings and it feels like a safe place to be. It's a place to spread memories and be loved. It’s a place where I can have a lot of fun with my family and friends. Home tastes like the yummy snacks that I eat and the breakfast, lunch and dinner I eat. It sounds like my dog barking and my family talking and I can hear my family and my dog walking around the house. It sounds like playing fun video games and board games with family and friends.
