Home

Home to me means family. Home means love, laughter, safety, peace, fun, joy, kindness, generosity, and a place to be myself. My family is very kind to so many people. Sometimes they can be annoying, but I know that deep down, at the bottom of their hearts, they love each other. Whenever something is wrong, I can count on my family for help. Family will always protect you when something is wrong. My family fills me with joy and always makes me happy. My grandmother is always very kind to every one of us. When I get upset, she always finds a way to help calm me down and makes me happy again. She helps so many people accomplish so many things, and is kind to everyone she speaks to. Home is a very safe place to be in when you are experiencing trouble. Everyone in my home will protect me no matter the consequences, the situation, no matter what. Home is an amazing place. Always think positively, do good things with confidence, believe in yourself, and no matter what, your family will support you. Your home is like your actual family. I think of my home like, the walls are my brothers and sisters surrounding me and keeping me company. The roof above my head are my parents and grandparents giving me shelter and protecting me. The water is the ocean flowing through my home. The door is the door of opportunity. When I step outside of the door, it opens to the world. If there is trouble outside, I can always step back into my home because home is the safest place to be in. I know that there are some people who don’t have homes, but as long as you have family, you will be alright.
