Meaning of Home

Through the park, through the trees, Past the kids on the swings, Snow drifts along in the freeze, Ice melts into the spring. The flowers reach up to the sky And peel open as they bloom. Spring steps aside and frees up new room, Summer is now, we are out in the grass. Forgotten the spring, it is all in the past, But as fast as it came, fall fades in just the same. Scarves wrap around necks, like a kiss or a hug. My cat sits upon the fuzzy blue rug. Perched on the mantle, a collection of gnomes All the seasons spinning round me, Make up my home.
