Home is my comfort zone!
Everyone needs a comfort zone, a comfort zone that can be their home. My comfort zone is a place where I can be myself and act all silly and energetic. My home is filled with the sounds of my family’s laughter as we gather around our dinner table sharing stories and making memories. I am grateful for the love and laughter that fills my home.Whether you move from place to place, you will always find someplace to call home. For me I have relocated a lot and everywhere I have found myself has always felt like a home. I believe you can have as many homes in a lifetime.
A home is not just a building, it could be a hut, a camper, a penthouse or a mansion, big or small, but the warmth and the sense of belonging in a place or a group of people is all that matters. Everyone deserves a happy place to call a home, a place to be carefree, cherished and belong.
Growing up while my parents were away in Canada, my extended family was my home, and I never felt the absence of my biological parents although they were away I always wished they were there with me. Although deceased, I still remember the warmth my grandmother brought to my life. I hope that one day everyone will have a place of warmth and love, a place they can call home and the feeling and situation of homelessness, a thing of the past that will be resolved.
