A House Is Not A Home
Home is a place with love, laughter, and a place to call mine. Home is a place with friends, family, and a roof over my head. Home is a place where I took my first steps, and some of my first breaths. Home is a place where I can relax on the couch and have no worries at all. Home is filled people and memories to share.
A House is not a Home; a house is silent, lonely and filled with bad feelings alone. A House is a place with cobwebs in the corners, spiders and bad things most of all. A House is a place with no memories and no souls at all.
But ...
My Home is a place where all feelings are okay. Home is a place where we can have bad days with fights, problems and pain. But most of the time my home is a place with love, kindness and happiness with my family.
Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for giving people a Home, not a House.
