The Lost Fawn

Once upon a time, there was a little lonely fawn. That fawn was a sad fawn. She explored the woods every day, looking for her family that had abandoned her. She found this group of other deer, and stayed with them for a while, but soon she realized that they were not her family she was looking for. She continued exploring, and found a little area that seemed to be for younger fawns. She searched for another little bit, but could not find her family. So she kept on exploring the woods. After finding and leaving her fifth group, she soon discovered she had reached the end of the woods! So she turned around and headed back another way. She had almost reached the younger fawn’s “play area” when she heard someone calling for her to turn back. She turned around and saw another deer, but this one was not in a group. This one was lost, too! The other deer said, ‘Please follow me. I know this area where all the lost deer go. There might be your family there!’ So the fawn followed the strange deer and soon found herself lost in other deer! She kept on calling out her mother and father’s names, and soon there was a reply. She followed the voice until she was reunited with her family. Now she knew where her home truly was: with her family, safe and together again!
