Our Sweet Home

Home is not just the walls that structure your house or the roof that covers your head. It is more than just a building. It is a place filled with love. Home is a safe place, a place when danger or war is near. However, not everyone experiences danger or war, and that’s okay because each person’s life is different. Home is where you can be yourself and spend time with your family and friends. For many, home is a place to share moments with loved ones. Unfortunately, some people cannot afford a house because they do not have enough money. Some live in cars, while others may set up tents as shelter. You might wonder, "Why are people poor?" Poverty can happen for many reasons. Some may lose their jobs or struggle to find opportunities to earn a living. Some people ask for help, while others do not. Not everyone in poverty has money for food or shelter. Home is where you live and grow with your family. It is where you can speak your own language and feel safe. A home is filled with joy, love, and laughter, and the love of family stays in your heart. Sometimes, you may share a room with a sibling, and other times, you may have your own space. But no matter where you live or how big your home is, you are never truly alone if you have your family. That is what home means.
