Why Home is Great

Home is more than a 4-room building. It shares love, creativity, safety, personal space, and more than just your average house. It starts off with the lawn that cherishes memories of playtime and fun. Flowers, the green, clean grass hits your shoe as you walk through the meadow. But when it snows, get ready to fight! Forts, snow angels, and snow on your lawn just hits differently! Now we enter the entryway. Signs of home, love, and the memories of walking in after school are nice. Plant your shoes on the doormat and enter the living room. The living room is where we hear chatter, laughter, enjoyment, and conversations arise! This is more than a lonely room. The kitchen is the next stop! Here we hear baking, clicks, stirring, and creativity awaits. Ever had mom's favourite cookies? Sure did! There's no feeling than sitting at the dining table with family and friends while eating mom's favourites. Time to head to the bathroom. This place is where you can clean yourself while feeling safe and to yourself. A moment with only yourself feels nice. Upstairs is where we go. Meet me in the office room is creativity is all. Work with your parents or draw paintings of your choice. Printing was my childhood and might be yours. This is all at your home. Wait we're not done. The bedroom is next, where you are yourself. Resting on your bed is a sight to endure. Dreams and personalization anew. Being uncomfortable in your room is almost impossible! Time to head back down, to the basement we go! Here is where memories unfold. The feeling is cold, nostalgic, and different than the rest. The garden is where we go now, to plant flowers, play, and mainly enjo ourselvesy. Overall, everyone needs and deserves a home.
