What Home Means to Me

Home is waking up to my mom's voice and seeing my family in the morning and eating breakfast all together. Sometimes I think about how life would be if I didn't have my family when I get into an argument with my family I go into my room and I look around and I realize something very important I have a bed, I have a closet I have a table I have food on my table. But not just any food it's the food my mom made with love just for me to give her a fake smile when I fight with my family. I realize I have to apologize because I did not mean all those horrible things I said. I realize how much they have cried they helped they have been super kind and they have sacrificed so much for me. I apologize and suddenly I see the world in brighter colors. The taste of my mom's food tastes better. When I wake up in the morning I feel better that I am not mad at someone anymore it feels like the weight of the world has come off of me. Sometimes I look at homeless people and people who are dying and I think about my family you should always cherish the time with your loved ones because sadly you don't know when we will all pass away. When my dad comes home from work my siblings and I all hug him. Home means happiness, sadness, calmness organized laughter, and silly fights with my siblings. Family gives you the roots to stand strong together. A family that is what home means to me -FAMILY
