What Home Means to Me

The mud room is the first place you see when you enter my home. It’s where my shoes go when I set foot into my home. It’s where laundry has been done over and over. The kitchen is the second place you will encounter when you launch into my home. It’s where delicious cuisine has been made. It’s more than four walls: a microwave, fridge and maybe a stove. It’s a spot where my family giggles and laughs. It's an A plus spot in my opinion. The dining room is the station where we eat, laugh, play and talk. It’s a spot where emotions glow and my family sits to rest. It’s where flavors on flavors are discovered and the aroma of yummy food fills the air every time you enter the room. My dining room is a place that sorts thousands of memories and for that it will always be held in a special place in my heart. The living room is the spot where I settle down and watch television, play card games and cuddle with my parents. Some living rooms have a TV, four walls and some chairs but my living room holds memories on end and a magical fish whose named Billy. The living room is a place of wonders and imagination revealed so it will always be a sacred place to me. My bedroom is a place of relaxation, comfort and consolation. It’s the only spot that I truly feel safe to settle down to slumber for the night. My bedroom is a scene of wonder and imagination. I mean I've spent half of my life there so I’d know. It’s not like any other place because in my opinion it just holders to many special memories.
