Home, My Dome
Home,
My little dome
Classic, colorful, beautiful and plain.
It hits the right shade and can never be a pain.
My brave, upstanding shelter
In my accommodation I always seem to stay kelter.
Dad, Mom, sister and brother,
Who could be such a bother!
Discipline begins at home, my mom would say,
She doesn’t want us to be led astray.
I guess that’s why we always obeyed,
So later in life the price won’t have to be paid.
Unfortunately, there’s no privacy
In my little fantasy.
Pink, purple, white and blue
Are the fascinating colors in my room
Not wanting to get out of bed because it’s cozy
Due to the fact I always feel homey.
The living room mat makes me want to run up the wall.
That ends with a knockout brawl
Lego, art and designs in the family chamber
Put the family on the radar
Fighting for the remote
“A survival game,” I quote.
Pots, pans, cutlery, cups and plates
Everything has a definite place
Flipping frying eggs and toasted grilled cheese
I always manage to cook with steeze
I am a fabulous cook
So, you know I’m not just all about my looks!
Meeting up with family and friends
Always ruins my weekends.
Having to dodge them has become a skill
I practically must take off my heel
Rejecting and accepting people
It’s not my perfect deal
My fortress deluxe suite
A perfect masterpiece that’s complete
Nothing gets better than this.
Something I just can’t dismiss
A magnificent structure
With no need for restructure.
Oh home! My perfect dome!
