A house vs. home

A house stands strong its walls of stone a shelter yet it can still feel alone The roof protects from the rain that pours but it’s within these bounds that silence roars Rooms resonate with echoes of days gone by, windows framed against the endless sky yet even within these sturdy walls there is nobody in the hall A home stands tall a fortress of stone each corner a memory a place to call home Rooms filled with echoes of laughter and cheer a shelter of solace where loved ones draw near, Windows like eyes that catch morning light, door that swings open to welcome the night. A canvas for dreams, a backdrop for life, a home can hold joy and sometimes strife . in its sturdy walls both secrets a peace a sanctuary where chaos can cease. Though bricks may define it. It’s more than the frame for within every home that lays claim So cherish your home it’s more than a space it’s the setting for moments the heartbeat’s Embrace a haven of memories. A place to belong in the heart of a home we find where we are strong.
