My Loving Home

My loving home is where love meets hope. It's not just four walls and a roof, to me it's the meaning of life. My home to me feels like a soft fluffy blanket sewed together by warm memories. My family is the light in any dark place, they can turn my frown upside down in five seconds, they make me feel safe. My home is a sacred place where everyone is welcome. My family is the umbrella in a thunderstorm and keeps me away from toxic people. My parents set the table with care and grace, a refuge where we can all find space. Love, like fire, burns bright and bold. The walls are filled with hope, top to bottom. Me and my sister can entertain each other all day long, same with my two dogs and fish. Love in my home sings like a dove, my dogs and fish dance along to the wonderful tune of hope and love bouncing off the walls. My dad can fix anything with a flick of a wrist. My mom makes sure we all get enough to eat! My loving home, not just a place to sleep and survive, but a place to grow and glow, a place to thrive.
