Grateful!
Enjoying the refreshing breeze as I pass by, almost falling behind in the race. We were racing around the neighborhood for champion of racing. Also, it was Chinese New Year, so as always, I was SUPER excited for the food. “Olivia! Watch out! Pause your daydreaming.” said a voice behind me slicing through my thought. It was my friend Mia, my best, best friend and I barely dodged the rock that some little kid threw thanks to her. “Mia, thank you like for real.” Sadly, I got last place, but I’m just thankful I’m not hurt. By the time the second round finished it was home time, so I rushed back home for dinner. We had dumplings, noodles, cucumber salad, and more. It was SUPER good! As I was watching TV with my family, I thought to myself, “I should be grateful for my friends, family, and where I live because some people don’t have those things.
