Meaning of Home

A house has four walls, but a home is where memories are made. When I think of my home, I smell bread being made and melted butter for popcorn that I love to eat with my family. I also smell cinnamon when it is put in the hot chocolate ready to be drank. When I walk into my home, I taste homemade bread from the oven. When I have popcorn, I watch a movie with my family. My home also tastes like hot chocolate with whip cream and marshmallows. The sounds in my home, make me want to go in and play Minecraft, where I feel safe. These sounds are my mom’s voice when she meets me. Home to me is a place where I play with my cats, watch tv and play with my sister, brother, cousin, mom and dad. Finally, home is where I eat ice cream with caramel and extra Oreo. Thank you, Habitat, for providing homes for those in need.
