The Meaning of Home

A house has four walls and a roof, but for me home means a place full of love that grows everyday. Where childhood friends come to play. When I smell cinnamon rolls freshly out of the oven.It's quiet without my siblings because we always hang out,we might get in fights or get annoyed with each other but we're still going to be there for each other. It's different not being around all my old friends anymore after they moved. You don't realize how fast you can forget memories. But there will always be unforgettable memories. I hear my sisters fighting over who gets to play with their favorite toy doll. I hear my baby brother laughing at me and my sister's jokes. Habitat for Humanity is an organization that you can go to if you need help. They will build you a home, maybe like mine, with family and friends alike, living inside their walls. Or maybe nice furniture and a house filled with a bunch of different emotions. Some people don't have a home or a house, that's why Habitat for Humanity can help you. In the end you will have a home that feels like home to you! With nice furniture and a home filled with emotions like mine.
