What Home Means to Me
Home is where you feel safe, cared for and most importantly loved. When you come home from school and smell the banana bread or have family game nights, and watch movies together, you can feel love in the air. Home is where you make memories together, go outside and play with your siblings till supper is ready and be yourself. Home during summer break, when you and your mom go outside to the garden in the hot sun to plant flowers.
A home usually has a pet. They’re kinda like your little protector of the house and whenever you are feeling down they are always there for you and always there if you need a cuddle and you're there for them if they need a pat. When your dad just finished plowing the driveway in the winter and you run outside to play. Home for me is nature, the rustling leaves and the rushing rivers are not too loud, just soft and calming. In my room, my blankets are as soft as a fluffy puppy. That is what home means to me.
