This is Why We Should Help People on the Streets
I live in Nova Scotia. I'm joy filled because I have a house. But some people don't have a house and they live on the side of the streets with tents or just sleep on benches because stuff is so expensive like food and water.
It's almost $10 000 to afford one monthly payment of rent and food.
Some people are living in tents in our city and now they have to leave because they pollute the area with stuff. So the government is trying to make more housing that's affordable so people don't pollute the area. There was a baseball field where my Dad’s played there. And then there were a bunch of tents around it and then they took out the baseball field to put in a bunch of little houses so the people could stay there.
Some people still make terrible decisions in their life to lead them to homelessness. Some people use their money in terrible ways like buying cigarettes, buying lottery tickets, buying alcohol and Coca-Cola. Some people go on the streets to beg for money, some people give them money and other people don't. The money is for certain reasons like they spend their money on cigarettes, drugs and other stuff like that because they are addicted.
But some people still have a job but the cost of apartments are some expensive.
