What Home Means To ME

When I think of home, I smell delicious food in the kitchen. My mom cooks fried rice and chicken, with Nigerian okra soup and garri. When I taste the delicious dishes,it feels like music to my ears! To me, home is about eating delicious food with all my family. At home,we celebrate with music.We dance to traditional Igbo songs.We sing and dance with friends and family. Home is about dancing with my family. In my living room, we enjoy ourselves and play board games. We win or lose, but make fond memories that never fade away. Home is making fun memories with my family! During the summertime, my siblings and chase each other with the hose, having a fun time. In the winter, my family and I play in the snow. Jumping and having snow fights! To me, home is about spending time with those I love. Thanks to my family’s warmth, love and support, I can be the best version of myself!
