What Home Means to Me

When I enter my home I see the park outside my backyard.My friends and I play outside for hours then I drop myself on the couch.I feel safe and protected here.I also feel like I belong. People always have a smile on their face. I know that when I am home I belong here in this family no matter what happens to me.I know that I am home because I play soccer with my older brother and sometimes we fight and sometimes I win! I can taste the boiling curry on the stove and fried plantains as my mom makes them in the kitchen.Also I can hear my dad laughing upstairs on a meeting.I know that when I am home that's where my heart is 💗🏡.
