A Home Is Not Just A House

A home is not just a house. Some people say a home is just a place you stay. A home is more than just a place, it is where you can make new memories, like when your mom says “I love you” or when she puts me to bed. Also, when my family comes to visit for holidays like Christmas or Thanksgiving when my mom makes delicious food. Just like when I have warm food waiting for me when I get home from school or when I come from my room. A home is where you grow up when you grow older, a home is more than where I sleep. A home is where new family members are born and where they grow up at. A home is a place where new friends come to visit, or when you have birthday parties at your home. A home is a place where I take care of myself. It is also where laughter happens. A home is where I celebrate holidays like my birthday. That is why I love my home so much. Home is a place where I can be me and be free. That is what home means to me.
