Meaning Of Home

Hi, I'm a grade 5 student and this is my idea of what home feels like to me. It's safe, comfortable and welcoming. I also hope people have a good and safe place to live. My home feels kind, loving and very welcoming to everyone. It also feels like a place full of warmth, joy and happiness. If I'm ever down my family would cheer me up. I think everyone should feel loved and cared about at home. Even though some people don’t have a home they still should be cared about. Another reason of what home means and feels to me is safe. Home feels safe to me because there is a roof over my head. It protects me and my family from bad weather and other types of things. I can be safe and survive because we have a lot of food and clean water. My home is very safe for me because it has locks not to let intruders in. My last reason why home feels safe to me is because I have my family to stay close to and protect me. My last reason of what home feels like to me is comfortable. My home is comfortable because it has beds, pillows and blankets to make our sleep comfortable and to keep us warm during the nights. It’s also comfortable because we have good surroundings such as bedrooms, showers, toilettes and couches. I also have my family to make me more comfortable instead of me being home by myself. Carpets in my home help make it cozier and comfortable. Those were my thoughts of what home means, feels and is to me. Home is a very special place for me and should be for everyone. I think everyone deserves a home. I hope you liked what home meant to me.
