Meaning of Home

Houses are just bricks and stones, but a home is where you find peace and freedom. Houses may be empty and lonely, but in a home you can find people who love you. Without them, a house is empty, it has just four walls and a roof. But with them, it creates a home, full of joy and laughter in every room. Many people don’t have homes and may live in a tent, they have no one to comfort them, and on top of that almost no one supports them. No one deserves to not have a home, everyone deserves a place derived from joy. Everyone should have someone who comforts them, it can be a pet or family member. Should be more grateful for the people we have, and we shouldn’t take things for granted. Many people suffer from homelessness, and some homeless people may suffer from other things. Which include bullying, depression, disorders and amputated limbs. A home is something more than a place to sleep, it’s a place where you can feel loved by others. Home is a place where you can come home and feel free, where you can smell the food your mom is cooking in the kitchen. It’s where you can hear laughter, have family time, conversations and much more. A home is where you can feel safe, where you can hug, laugh and make memories. Where you can be understood by others, where you can’t be criticized or laughed at. Many people don’t have a home, usually they sit on the streets suffering from starvation and thirst. Habitat for Humanity builds homes for many families, they give many people a second chance. You can help by donating to Habitat for Humanity or volunteering to help build houses! There are many ways to help, you can make a difference!
