What Does Home Mean to You?

My home means a lot to me, I'm so grateful to even have a roof over my head. Some families don't even have a house to live in, they live on the streets! My home makes me feel safe and comfortable. Imagine not having a roof over your head and having to live on the streets, without food and water!? It feels so sad when I see people or families on the streets. I always want to give them money to make their day. After I saw a person on the streets, I said this to my mom ‘Mom one day when I'm older, every time I see someone on the streets I will help them, I'll give them food, water, supplies and everything they need. I'm so lucky to even have a home! Did you know that over 2.1 billion people have a house compared to 580,000 people that do not have a home!? It feels so sad to see that many people on the streets, It's so heartbreaking. Across the world there are a minimum of 20,000 people who live in a dump looking for rotten food and a place to live in. Just Imagine just being homeless while you see people inside nice and warm? This is what my home means to me 🙂
