A house and a home are very different because a house could be empty and it also could be a house you are going to. A home started as a house then he or she found someone they love and then there were kids and then they made a home. Home is a place to create and make memories, you should feel safe, calm, happy and most importantly loved. You should feel welcomed at home because you have a loving place to stay, a roof over your head, a bed to sleep in, good food to eat and people who care about you. Home is where you have fun, play games, make memories and spend time with your family. Who is in your family? In my family, I have my sister, my mom, my dad, my brother and me. Home should be welcoming to you because it is where you make most of your memories and spend most of your time. When you get home, how do you feel? When I get home I feel welcomed and safe. Habitat for Humanity helps people who don't have houses. A great thing is the new homeowners help to build their own house. These people feel involved in helping to pay for the materials that will become their home.
