Rooms of a Home

What is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about home? Rooms – why! Because in a home there can be many rooms and, in a room, everything can happen! Here are some of my favorite rooms and why. First, there is my kitchen, but it’s not only for cooking, it’s where you learn. It’s where my brother learned how to make lasagna and cannoli. It’s also where I decorated my sister’s birthday cake; she loved it. With a big counter to make our breakfast every day, our kitchen is great! We first cook dinner in our kitchen. Then we bring it to our living room to watch a wonderful movie together. It’s a family movie night where we eat, laugh and watch! We also like to read books on our comfy couch before going to bed. Without forgetting that my living room is where my siblings and I play together every day. The other room that I like is the dining room, it’s for eating - yes. But not only that; it's used for studying, too! The large table in the middle is where we play board games, card games and guessing games on Friday nights. It’s where, after school, I tell my mom and dad about my day. I am incredibly lucky to have this room! Another room that I am extremely lucky to have is my bedroom. Even if I share that room with my sister, I am still lucky because I can still sleep and do everything I like. I love its cat poster and my bed with my drawer and shelf full of books. Sometimes I like to stay in my bed and do nothing; to relax. My bedroom is exceptional and unique. And so is every other room and home.
