The Meaning of Home

I live with my family. I like having a big family. I live with my mom and dad and two sisters and two brothers. We are very happy and close family. My family moved to Canada from Syria. At home we all speak Arabic. Speaking in Arabic makes me feel at home. My favorite thing to do with my family is pray. We are Muslim. We pray in the morning and at night. I love to eat homemade pizza with my family. My mom makes the best pizza. My favourite pizza topping is cheese and mushroom. We do not eat pork because it is “haram”, which means it is forbidden. Life in Canada is feels safe and happy. It can be hard to learn English and it is cold here but it already feels like home.
