Habitat for Humanity: Writing about Home

Habitat for Humanity is an organization that helps struggling families have a place called home. Sadly, many people in Canada struggle with housing and finding a safe home. The cost of food, heating and other necessities can be really hard for some. Habitat for Humanity helps people own their own homes. Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer program that works with Canadians and they work alongside families to provide a decent and affordable place for them to live. Habitat for Humanity has helped thousands of families across our nation. I am thankful for my home. My home provides everything I need. I always have food to eat and I never go hungry. My home is always super warm and my bedroom is especially cozy. I even have a hammock in my room. At my mom's, we do a lot of cool things together. Our family sometimes orders from McDonald's and then we like to have movie nights. At my dad's, we like to play board games and have movie nights there, too. Sometimes my two little sisters will have a sleepover in my room with my older sister and I. My family is very important to me. I am grateful to have a safe and warm place to live. I am lucky to have two homes that support me. I love having my mom's house because I have my own room there. I have a living room in my house that's for me and my sister and I love having my dog who keeps wanting to play with me and have all the cuddles in the world. At my mom's house we have a projector and I will set it up outside and watch a movie on my trampoline. My second house that I live in is my dad's house. I am so happy when I go there because I get to see my dad, my step mom and my two little sisters. Sometimes we go into the hot tub. Every single day my little sister always asks me if I want to play and do a lot of art. Everybody in the world deserves a nice home with food on the table, heat, and a place just a place to call their own. A nice home looks like a nice comfy bed for you and your family, the kitchen, living room and most especially family. We are so lucky to have Habitat for Humanity they help us by making homes for people who are less fortunate. Habitat for Humanity makes life better for people and some people volunteer just to help not even to get money. I think everybody deserves a home and that's why Habitat for Humanityis so important. Everybody deserves to have a home.
