When I Think of Home

When I think of home, I feel lonely and kind of sad. I live with my mom, dad and brother. I love them all but sometimes I don’t get along with my brother. He takes my charging cord and won’t let me use it. I feel sad most of the time because I feel like nobody knows I’m there. When I enter a room, they don’t notice me. When I think of home, I think of my mom. I love her a lot. Everything my mom cooks tastes good. My favourite is coconut rice and boiled eggs. When I think of home, I think about the sound of music playing when my mom is cleaning. I can smell the air freshener that she uses in the bathroom and the living room, and it smells good. My mom uses bleach, too and I don’t like that smell. A noise I find annoying is the sound of my brother yelling at me. It’s a loud, screeching noise and it makes me mad and uncomfortable. I feel like I want to break something. What makes me feel better is feeling the soft fur of my cats and the rawr sound they make. The cats make me feel a lot better and they calm me down. When I think of home, I see my five cats coming towards me when I come in the door. They give me wet kisses. I watch them lick the snow off m ski pants in the winter. In my bedroom I see my set up, the controller and my television on my desk. When I sit at my desk my phone is to the left of me. I can hear the sounds that come from the video games I play.
