Aubree's Trip

Hi, I’m Aubree, but you can call me Aubs. Here’s my story! I moved here when I was 7. Now, I’m 14, and I LOVE gymnastics! I do gymnastics with my best friend, May. Most people call her May May! A few things I must tell you: I’m going on a trip to Orlando for a competition, and we’re also moving to Orlando, Florida. Right now, we live in Texas, and I’m nervous because I love this home. It’s going to be so much different. Like this, it’s going to be a house, not my home. I grew up here. I learned my FIRST cartwheel here. I learned to ride a bike and walk. I met May May here. She’s practically my sister. May May moved when we were both 10. I was so upset, and I kept telling myself it was my fault. I was mad at her. We talked every day on the phone. We talked for hours. I miss her so much. I wish I could hug her right now. Tomorrow, we’re selling the house. I’m nervous about moving, but oh well. I LOVE MY HOME SO MUCH. I argued about not selling the house, but nobody listened. I was really upset. But the message I want you to learn is that home is different than a house because you feel safe and lasting memories.
