What Home Means To Me

Home is where I tightly hug my mom on the couch while watching movies on the big tv. I will always be safe because I can quickly run to my mom and dad when I’m scared. Home is getting into bed on a windy night and feeling safe and calm while the wind loudly howls. I have always loved my home and how I feel very safe inside it. My family and I are very happy in our cozy home on the island of Newfoundland. All the people and pets feel lots of love for each other. Family and friends remind me of home because home is the beautiful place I’ve always felt loved and cared for. Home means I can be in a massive hurricane, but be calm in my safe home. Home reminds me that I’ve had so much fun in my house. I’ve been very happy. There will always be a bandage when I’m hurt. My home has always made me happy when I’m feeling really sad. I love to hug my family because home is where I am with the people I love. Having a house lets me love my dogs, but having a home lets me feel their love. I also love to cuddle my cat. Having a home means I get a soft bed while I’m sleeping. Home means I have clean clothes to get dressed in the early morning. My family and I enjoy playing with our dogs. I have a dog named Coco, and another named Hershey. They remind me of my home that I have always loved to play in. All of my wonderful pets and relatives remind me of my loving home I happily play in.
