Ice Palace

The meaning of home means to me when I'm on the ice. It feels like all the pressure and nerves go away. The game of hockey makes me feel at home.. When I step on that ice it makes me feel amazing especially when I'm with my friends. My friends on my hockey team make me feel at home. My hockey team has 17 guys who also love the game of hockey just like me. They are like puzzle pieces. We are like a giant puzzle, we all fit and our team is powerful. If someone is missing the puzzle is unfinished. We have practices and games but that doesn't change the fact that every guy on that team makes me feel at home. When one guy goes down the entire team goes down with you. We have each other’s backs. The feeling of stepping on that ice when you're playing a game is something no one can describe. It’s so amazing that it has no description. The only thing I can say that it feels like is home. Home that word is so small but means something so big to me.. What home means to me is stepping on that ice playing my favourite sport, the game of hockey with all my friends who feel the same about stepping on that special ice palace.
