The Feeling of Leaving Home

When I was a few months old, I left my home country, which was really nothing to me since I was a newborn baby. I grew up in Dubai. I shifted 2-3 times and said bye bye to friends. We still used to talk to each other still and some visits while I lived there, calling it my home for about 10 years. Then came the challenge: we were leaving for Canada after 10 years of calling Dubai home. Leaving behind hundreds of friends and some of my relatives. They all were asking me why do you have to leave? Showing they are welcoming and kind, I got a lot of gifts. After that, we went to my home country, Pakistan; we stopped there for a month to say our final farewell. Then we stopped Dubai Airport and went to Canada. We started fresh, made new friends. New school and a fresh new life. Now I call Canada my 3rd or 2nd home. A lot of our family members were also here, so we called it “our new home”! Stopped at our family friend’s house for 4 days. Then we flew over to Moncton and found new experience.
