Meaning of Home

Home is the feeling of walking in the front door being greeted by my puppy and the smell of my dad’s juicy burgers. When I go upstairs, I smell my sister’s smelly perfume. Outside I smell maple taffy getting made and my puppy named Tui tail wagging in the wind. Home is the taste of love in my heart. My aunt’s buttery perogies, my mom’s delicious heart rice crispy squares and my grandma’s homemade Jello. My home tastes like love. Home sounds like my dog running after his loved toy and him charging after me in the wind. Home is my sister playing downstairs and the sound of me playing Roblox with friends. Home is the sight of love when my puppy jumps on me and seeing my dad cooking juicy burgers in the kitchen. A living room is a place where love is connected back and forth. Home is a place where you stay and receive notes of the past in your bedroom and where you play with your favourite toys.
