Meaning of Home

Home is a place where we find comfort and build memories. Some sounds of home are the crackling of the fire that I make with my dad. Other sounds are laughter and music. The laughter is from telling jokes and watching funny movies. I love listening to music when I am baking with my mom. The smell of home is a wood smoke from the fireplace when I open the door and put a new piece of wood on the fire. Another one is fresh baked treats when they first come out of the oven. After coming in from outside when it is cold, I make myself and my sister a cup of hot chocolate and then I watch a TV show. When my Auntie brings brownies with chocolate all over them and they are all gone before the end of the day. I like the touch of my warm soft blanket when I cuddle up in my rocking chair by the fire with a nice book. The meaning of home extends far beyond the four walls of a house.
