Houses and Homes

A home is a place where memories are made, unity is forever and is a welcoming place. A home is a safe place where you can run and find safety. A home is way better than a house in all different terms. A house has four walls; a home is a place to bring out your emotions. A ceiling doesn’t always cover you, but a home is a warm shelter and covering. A house will always leave you, but a home stays forever. A window may always break, but your family will never break your heart. A key may always unlock your door, but a home will always unlock your heart. A house can always disappear without you knowing, but a home will always be with you. I lived in Africa, Nigeria, for seven years. It was my home for years and years to come, but unexpectedly, I moved to Moncton, NB, Canada. For three years, I’ve been in Canada, that means moving houses three more times, but I never needed to move homes because my home always and will always be with me every single day and step of my life.
