Truly Known

In a house you feel alone, You feel that something in you is missing. In a home you are overwhelmed with joy, You feel loved and seen. In a house you feel stressed all the time. You feel that everything is your fault, You feel the need to be perfect. But in a home you are reassured that you are accepted and perfect just the way you are. If you live in a house you feel dead inside and it shows in your eyes. In a home you know that they love you, But in a house you wonder if they care. A home is where you feel safe and protected In a house you feel neglected. You don’t feel like yourself in a house, You feel that you need to be somebody you aren’t. But in a home you know that you can be yourself without getting judged. When you’re In a house you feel unknown and lost and It feels cold. Everyday you hope that you will feel happy someday, but you never do. In a house you crave to feel loved. But in a home you can love and feel loved.
