What Home Means to Me

Home isn't just four walls, a floor and a ceiling. Home is where you can feel like yourself and not have to worry about people hurting your feelings. Home is where the heart finds peace, a place where all the noise can cease. Home is where you can take your mind off things like stress. Home is a place where you feel loved and at your best. Homeless people can't afford homes so you should take advantage of it because you're lucky to have one of your own. Home is where food gets served on the table day and night, a place where all your memories can shine bright. In the kitchen, the scent of candles covers the room, where light shines and flowers bloom. The reading room, a time to relax and calm yourself, lying down picking books off the shelf. Up in the bedroom where you hear nothing but birds, the world is silent, no need for words. A basement, middle floor and third floor for me, a place where the homeless will all dream to be. Outside, where the sun falls and the moon rises, home, a place with a handful of gifts and surprises. Look outside around everything and lie down and go stargazing Because If you really look around, home is amazing.
