The difference between a House and a Home

A house is made of nice fences, bricks and stones, but a home has hearts and love that glows. A house may be fancy or have cool doors and windows, but a home has the delicious smell of your mom’s fresh homemade dough. A house is nice and beautiful on the outside while on the inside it could be cold and lonely, but a home may not look the best on the outside while on the inside it’s warm and cozy. A house has a lot of rooms like a living room, dining room and many bedrooms, but a home has your family's love that forever blooms. A house may be nicely decorated with elegant curtains, wall paintings, and flowers in vases, but a home carries memories of children playing throughout different phases. A house could have a modern backyard with fake grass and a large pool, but a home filled with friends and family is what makes the summers super cool. A house can have the biggest Christmas tree with lots of presents to share, but a home offers sincere compassion from the loved ones who really care. A house may have extravagant feasts placed at the dinner table for all to dine, but a home has food that is specially cooked and prepared for each mealtime. A house may smell of perfume or an expensive scent But a home of freshly laundered clothes offers an aroma truly, heaven sent. A house can be a mark of vanity, but in a home, resides a habitat for humanity.
