What Home Means to Me

Home is not just a house or a place to go, it's much more than just bricks, paint, plaster and walls. It's the place to go when you need comfort and a place for care. Home is the feeling of safety, a place where I can be myself and not be judged, a place where I can be upset without being judged, a place where I can feel safe, a place I can call home. The place where fights between me and my sister happen at least once or twice every day. The place where I sleep, eat and drink. A place where I can be calm and at peace. This is what a place of home looks, feels and sounds like this is a place that I can call home.
