What Home Means To Me
Home is memories a happy place and a safe place. I love home it's probably my most favorite place in the world. A house is different then a homes because a house has walls and a roof and floors but a home is where you make memories. When you move houses your home comes with you. And from all of the times I have moved my home has came with me.
I feel like home is my safe place because I have family and friends that come to my house. And all the memories that we have. When I come home from school I usually will come up stairs and do my chores but then I go straight down stairs to my room because I feel like it’s the safest place so I will go in my room and play video games or read a book I just like to chill in my safe place.
The happiest place in my house is my room too it’s my happiest place
and safest place. Sometimes my dog Silas will come inside my room but he is mostly in my brothers room because his room is upstairs. At my Dad’s house my dog Duke would come and lay on my carpet in my room but he died two years ago.
I have so much memories and I will make so much more. Me and my brother have so many memories together and we both have so many memories by ourselves and with each other and with our parents. There is going to be so much more memories and nobody will even be close to what the number of memories that we have had together.
I have now told you what home means to me. Now think of what home means to you. Maybe it’s funny memories. And thanks to Habitat for Humanity for giving me this opportunity to compete in this contest and giving people homes that need it.
